News Update April 12th 2021

Driving lessons and theory tests have now started. Driving tests will commence on the 22nd of April.

News Update March 15th 2021

The DVSA have confirmed that driving lessons and Theory Tests can resume on the April 12th. Car practical Driving Tests however will start on April 22nd 2021. These dates are all subject to continued government reviews of Covid-19 data.

News Update February 24th 2021

Holborn Driving School being in England is included in Step Two of the Government’s restart plan, which means that driving lessons are scheduled to start again on 12th April. We are yet to receive confirmation of this from the DVSA and await their verification.

 

Since Summer 2020 We Have been Conducting Driving Lessons In accordance with DVSA Standard Operating Procedure Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Before each lesson your instructor will clean the vehicle using antiviral spray or wipes, paying special attention to the passenger door handles inside and outside & any other touch points such as the steering wheel, mirror, indicators, handbrake.

Before a Lesson Pupils must Follow These Guidelines

1) You Must Be Symptom Free
No continuous cough
No continuous high temperature
No loss of, or change in your sense of taste or smell
Not returned to the UK in the past 14 days
Not living with someone with Covid symptoms

2) You Must Wash Your Hands
You must wash your hands thoroughly before and after the lesson.
Anti viral hand cleaner will also be provided by your instructor.

3) You Must Wear A Face Mask/Covering
Ensure you cover your mouth and nose, making sure there are no gaps between your face and the covering.
Plastic face shields must not be worn, injury could be caused if an airbag detonated.
Take your face mask with you after the lesson
If you are exempt from wearing a face covering, you must inform your instructor in advance of the lesson


Unfortunately its possible that your lesson may need to be rescheduled or cancelled at short notice due to Covid or government restrictions
